You should keep to a nut! If you have threaded forks, why do you want to change?I've been looking as wanting to convert to threadless, the only one I found was on ebay.com (US) $300 used! I may stick to using a nut

I have found one place that has a new 1 1/4" Chris King Headset to sell in their shop. However they are not in my country and wont take VISA only a bank transfer, am unsure about that to be honest.I'm building an Alpinestars Alu-Mega and want to fit a Manitou 3 fork that's the correct 1 1/4" but threadless. I've just been reading a post about cutting threads in threadless steerers so now looking at that as an option.
You are the "Silverfish" after all - I have a new "Tange 1 1/4" here for a build, however would be interested if we could negotiate a parting re: one of those Black Kings?I have 4 x 1 1/4 threadless headsets
