Wanted Cheap 9 speed shifters

Doing a bike for a neighbour.

I'm in need of a cheap set of trigger shifters.

3 x 9 speed
Shimano
Lx would be great, but something less like altus etc would also do

What have people got... Thanks

I’ve got some LX M570 STI units if you get stuck

Cheers buddy. They might have been ideal... But they're going on a hybrid bike. So I don't think the pull ratio would work with road calipers?

Not sure to be fair , as I’ve never mixed and matched like that. However they are the servo wave style which many use on canti brakes once adjusted for pull ratio so could work , you’d need to take a look if similar has been done

Sorry but v brake levers won't pull road calipers properly. The adjustment just took some of the snatchy feel from them but doesn't make them compatible in any way shape or form

I have some postage cost only 8spd if you get stuck - completely compatible with 9sps mechs and chains, just not cassettes!

Thanks both... Will keep current levers and just go for shifters.

Actually just found a lx m570 3 speed in the drawer, so another option is a matching 9 speed

I have a Shimano SL-M590 9 speed right shifter, plus a Shimano SL-M530 3 speed left shifter that I no longer need, if you're interested?
