The chain should be fine, but you could measure it to be sure. If 24 links measure 12", it is new. If 24 links measure 12 1/8", it needs replacing. If 24 links measure 12 1/16", you could think about replacing it - replacing chains at 12 1/16" isn't really necessary, but if you do that then your cassettes and chainrings will last a lot longer.PhilStone":2a2aoucr said:Just a quick aside question, if the cassette is worn and the chain is about 150 miles old, should I replace the chain at the same time as a new cassette or is 150 miles still bedding in?
