Splurged on a "holiday watch", a while back - well any old excuse will do...
Casio Pro-Trek PRW-5100:-
Strap is thicker and a bit more beefed up than the one on my G-Shock, so swapped it out for a 5 ring Zulu...
Tough movement, so solar powered, multiband 6 atomic clock sync, and auto hand correction. World time, stopwatch, all the normal stuff (countdown timer, 5 alarms), plus digital compass, barometer / temperature and altitude sensor.
Lume is better than I thought it'd be, plus a white LED to light the screen, which does a reasonable job.
Bit bigger and chunkier than I normally prefer, and a bit action-man-on-his-day-off, but it was very keenly priced, so I almost had to - the gods spoke, and not wanting to anger them, I did the only decent thing.
