Carrera fury

Bought this yesterday it's a 2003 carrera fury and it really is in very good condition there's just 1mark underneath the framework

I'm keeping the upgrades simple for now until I get into the scene a bit more
Going to get a computer fitted and what do people think about a rear wheel mud guard I think it finishes the look of a bike

Never seen one of those before, looks good. Mudguards, few will say yes, most will say good god man you must be mad but there is something to be said for not having a gritty seat post.....

Could clean the seapost?!

If you are commuting stick a guard on it. Otherwise, trying to avoid mud off road is like shoveling snow in whilst its still snowing.

Isnt the whole point to get muddy?
Worked on a lot of furys over the years and they are great.

Hi cyfa,hope im right in saying this but the modern carrera seem to be a lot less put together than the "older" carrera from 10 years ago,even though when I did pop into halfords over the weekend the new carrera to look very nice also downloading a cycle app for the iPhone motion x gps I'll see how it measures up if no good I'll get the computer
