Caroline Alexander’s Klein “Pulse” - Attitude by a different name? Racing History, no less.

A little update.

So, Caz’s reach as a racer was international, naturally, so it makes sense to be obtaining parts from all over the globe for this bike.

Thanks to @Moglix who I did a deal with for a Zooka and Moby combo. They’ll soon be on the way.

So far I’ve sourced parts from New Zealand, Singapore, UK and the USA and I’m spending way more than expected. And I’ve still got the frame to deal with. This is a proper international build and a real challenge.

For Caz.

Should be working but post arrived for Caz from NZ so quickly I am shocked. 😮 This n contrast, items from the USA are still in post from December 24. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Weather issues and the fact that USPS don’t appear to know what they’re doing has contributed to that.

No word from the photographer since early January which would’ve been nice as I could research components with more certainty. I guess I’ll have to study photos available more closely. What a chore 🤣

As ever, edging ever closer still.

I’m coming for you, Caz 🫶🏽

@Moglix cheers bud!

Only just found this thread, an interesting read. I wonder if this is the frame Caroline raced at the Grundig World XC at Newnham in 95? I went to that race as a 15 year old and for some reason my dad let me borrow his Canon SLR camera. I've probably got some photos somewhere in my parents' house if I get the chance to hunt around. I remember it wasn't her really race that day, but I did get some photos of her at the bombholes section, though from memory the best ones I got that day were of Tomac and Juarez. Dave Hemming did a nice pose for me too.
