Carlton Professional frame - New & boxed

I have an unused Carlton Professional frameset, still in its original cardboard box and inner plastic wrapping. This was bought from a bike shop that was closing down some 20 years ago and had obviously been in stock for some considerable time. Probably 30-40 years old.
Pale blue and white with chromed forks, stays and head lugs - Carlton team colours I believe. Label reads: Lagoon blue / semi chrome 23". Fork crown is smooth. Asking £200 + postage

On the box does it give a frame number reference ? it will start probably

with w?000???

If not and you have removed the frame from the box albeit still in the polythene ? if so the frame number is normally stamped on the hub.

Are there any photos available ?

Will check the frame number tonight. The label on the box is of the luggage label variety and stapled to the top flap, with the info typed on. I don't have any pics but can take some if necessary. However it seems to be like the one in this link - scroll down to bottom of page.

Frame number is F9394 - just checked and this is 1957 - 58 which unbelievably is my birth year (1957).This is actually 52 years old and still unused in its original box.
