CARBON V BRAKE LEVERS

Not those particular ones but they are exactly the same , only when they are in the palm of your hand do you realise how tiny they are . Those weight weenies are a brave bunch if they actually ride the bikes they stick them on . Each lever weighs roughly the same as a packet of hula hoops  and I've just eaten three packets .

How about some Ultralevers with carbon levers? ;)

I just found the image, no clue who/what/where/how they were done.

Woooooooooooooooooooooooof

Just when I thought I wanted KCNC, they can get stuffed now, I want these^^^^^^^^^^^^

More info please, ;)

Just me that thinks they look ruddy awful, then? That lever blade looks like it was made by a blind man with an axe :-/

Think this has been covered already...but Extralite and KCNC levers are so light because they a miniature levers with bugger all on them in terms of adjustability. Light weight for light weights sake.
Save weight on your wheels not your levers..they hardly contribute much anyway...and certainly nothing that you would 'feel' on the tracks.

My 5 cents :D

what exactly are you looking to adjust??? they're bloody levers for goodness sake. they are as adjustable as most other levers.

i have a set of the Extralite Ultralevers on my Merlin and I LOVE them. Not sure how they compare to the KCNC, but even though they are uber light, they feel solid and comfortable when gripped. they were well worth the $ coinage to have them on my sub 20lbs build. ;)

in regards to the Ultralevers with the carben levers, looks to me like a home jobbie being cut out of a thick slab of CF sheet. haven't been able to find any more on it except that one link provided. sorry :(

though i'll say i'm happy with my levers as is. ;)

Some people love their levers made out of mild steel and some like their's made out of lovely cnc'ism and carbon loveliness ;) I am the latter :D Ultralight are ace :D

Carbon has to be the worst material to make levers from surely..it's a part that does get subjected to quite a few hits/abuse

It all depends on your riding "style" to use a crap phrase,I like bike jewellery and my klein does not even go off road so no chance of a hit on them levers ;) According to some, carbon is a bad material to make any cycle parts out of,I on the other hand think that it depends on which bike it is used,as road bikes use it ok and I weigh 14 stone and have a sub 100 gram carbon stem and no troubles  Some carbon is rubbish but well made stuff rocks
