Decent v brake levers?

Not really...they did appear in the mid 90s! That's fairy retro....(ok, i had stopped working in bike shops some years before that, but then im old!)

Im just not a fan of the cheap stamped out xt / avid levers. Was hoping to find something cast and a bit more solid......the modern ( post 1995) levers all look a bit angular, less subtle some how.....

But it looks like the mid 90s quality dive put pay to any decent offerings.

Tektro certainly did some interesting stuff, and I'm pretty sure they were OEM to Avid, Cannondale, etc. for a fair bit.

I'm running these that I think I got from an old Decathlon or Sunn 90s bike. Lever is a bit longer than XT.

You can go easy as me in my last buit: Avis SD, in black or in silver. Or some XT, or some Extralite ultralevers if money is not a problem.
