Sadly it looks like our valiant 206 is not much longer for this world having just stranded Mrs LMTTM some 150miles from home
Thankfully recovered by the good peeps through Tesco insurance.
Pending a once over from a local garage I think we are going to be told the worst Not what we need to hear.
Now, bit of an admission here but I know very little about cars Older cars I am okay with but anything post 90's stumps me somewhat
There is only the two of us and dog.
Probably looking at a diesel and not looking to spend mega bucks......just don't have it.
I expect to get /hope to get a plethora of suggestions but our only criteria really would be; reliable, efficient to run (not necessarily cheap), capable of 20k a year.
It has been suggested that we look at a Focus (not the most recent shape) and a 2.0 diesel.
The 206 is a naturally aspirated diesel 1.9 that has (only) managed 135k so not swung on the diesels last forever thing!
Please help!
