CANTI HANGER

evening all, anyone recently bought a headset mounted cantilever hanger or know where i can get one.
thing is its got to be the thin steel type 1 1/8" with a decent drop/crank to it as i have a short steerer and low stack height aheadset. i did get one of the alloy clamp types from ebay but its to tall to safely fit my stem. the one pictured is from my 94 raleigh. and i dont want to go down the fork crown mounted type.
cheers

hanger

yeah your right plenty on ebay but none suitable for me, there either to thick/tall,or they dont have enough drop causing cable to stem fouling issues or not allowing me enough steerer to mount stem.
or the ones which do look suitable are only 1" dia. bugger.
will visit lbs saturday to check for old stock.

cheers

I used one of these rocker types on a recent build, similar to the Force 40 unit on some Cannondales. It was perhaps a tiny bit fiddly to set up, but worked very well -> https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/brakes/tekt ... er-brakes/

I've got a couple of these Tektro Power Hangers. One in black & one in silver.

They work really well, and I think they're a much neater solution than the normal fork bridge ones. They do take a bit of setting up, but it's not rocket science (I can do it!!)

The only reason I have two spare is that I managed to source an original Suntour one for the Zaskar. :D

You're welcome to one if it would be of use. ;)
