Cannondale worth saving?

I'm going to pick this Scott up on wednedsay.

This Cannondale's not too faw away. Not sure of the model. Aparantly it's been painted blue as it's red underneath. It looks a bit rough, would you take the time to save it?

I would try to haggle them down to £25 for the Cannondale if the seatpost moves, sell the levers and any other parts you don't need that will clean up alright and have a nice project to polish or repaint.
