Cannondale with almost full Campag groupset

I could see this being around that price range, potentially into four figures, if it was moderately clean or at least functionally restored already.
But thats going to be a full strip down to restore every individual part, i wouldnt touch it for more than maybe a few hundred USD in that condition.

Indeed, but lots of corrosion on components and the oxidisation on the frame looks pretty bad and is beyond patina as it will only get worse so would need a full respray which isn't cheap when you include decals. Looks to be fully original too. I think @Spankyfart has one of these...

Now that is worth the money

Yeah I'd took it apart months ago if it wasn't for the history of the bike.
I purposely redid all the cables, cleaned and redo the bearing grease and made sure it is sound to ride.
Would given me more money to split but no satisfaction. (tell that to the g/f)
Got a soft spot for Dale's

Lovely, but pretty tatty with lots of corrosion on frame, forks, stem and Campagnolo components. That's a lot of money for a bike in poor condition IMO.

You do have to wonder why knowing that it's a bike where only eighteen were made it hasn't been looked after slightly better. Crazy.
