Cannondale M2000 from 1992

Bike almost finished. I've chanced the seatpost and the cables, which have to be painted, because the original orange didn't harmonize with the decals. To do list: new stem with more rise and a black bar.

Hi!

Yes, mine feel a little bit mushy too but i think that's normal. You can't compare those cantilevers with v-brakes or even disk-brakes... But I don't use the bike for races. Therefore I can live with those disadvantages... ;)

Nice bike ! good job !
II love too your orange housing

Prefer thumbshifters if possible and remove these horrible SRAM shifters : they have nothing to do on such a bike ;)

Did you know that trek sell all manner of coloured brake and gear cables which I think are unbranded jagwire kit. If I remember rightly they come in 10 meter rolls. ;)

Hello!

Thank's for your (positive ;) ) comments. I've bought them here: http://cgi.ebay.com/Jagwire-Housing-Cab ... 4841a200af

and I've paid 8 pounds for them and 12 pounds for the new painting

But as I said the original orange looked dirty and very matt, so they didn't suit the neon-orange decals. Now it's not perfect but better than with the original ones...

If someone knows some cables in a very bright neon-colour, than I'd be very happy. :)

Best wishes, Christoph
