What a find those scans !

Totally love this one, presumably for the Parisiennes to go pottering around for a dirty weekend away:

So if I get this right, the Madame is slightly more stretched out, dipped bars, and thus aero and thus must ride in front and provide a windshield for the more upright Monsieur who is there to simply admire the views all around and to keep up?

If I was the Monsieur I'd take the bike pump off and racks too because she's got all that.

Just show me where the Exit / Sortie is and I'll leave quietly :p

Crikey Rob - that Hurtu.

Compelled to ask a serious question, if you discovered that yourself and had ownership in the state it's in what would would you do?

I know myself, if I discovered that myself and had ownership I would freak-out.
- A part of me would wish bleach in the eyes. Wish it wasn't me.
- A part of me would say game on, despite knowing that uniform all encompassing rust, and I would certainly need to check myself in to competent authorities for drink abuse and mental support assistance. I would see it as the last in an episode in bike wrenching and would struggle with it in my hands knowing and just touching it and aiming to move forward with it and how much could be at stake. The wrestle with other things and my obsessive nature and re-prioritising other things would be pretty horrible to be level headed about it.
- Sack it off to a pro. That would give me sleepless nights over and over again. Easy come, easy go, and a constant regret.
- Ride it Rat style. Ouuuf. I would have a hard mental barrier to do that with such a bike. But still would actually want to ride it even for 500m, and
then I could go full circle again and crawl up my own arse.

Whoever the owner his, blimey. Out of my league. Historical piece, seems practically all there. Amazed these are still coming out of barns etc.

is this the place to ask about the rear fender 'rack'? has anyone made something like this (a one-off)?

or steal the photo and start a new thread elsewhere?

thanks
