Hello,
Hoping someone with a bit knowledge on all things cannondale can help me with this.
Firstly I'd like to know what year and model this is, from what Google tells me it's date stamped July '98 (JG stamped on the frame). It's got XT/LX mechs, Coda crank & bars etc, Avid V's but does have Disc mounts. My guess was an F700 or 500 at first but it doesn't match anything in the 98/99 catalogues.
Secondly, the headshock appears to be knackered. (Fork falls out when you move the bike...) I'm considering building this up for the London to Brighton in a few weeks and not sure whether to replace/repair the headshock or fit a rigid fork if such an option exists....
