left foot, looks like its been used to kick cannonballs.

hobbled around yesterday, woke up in agony 4.45am this morning

dr says take 800mg ibrobrufen 3x a day! thats a whole packet just about.

also have a prescription for another drug if it doesnt go down by saturday.

already bored by daytime tv...

I had the same painful experience in 2 toes - put mine down to dropping a VW Beetle on it - does that count as gout?

My attack of gout is nearly over...I cannot describe the joy of being able to wear matching shoes.....I had to wear one cycle shoe with all the straps etc maxed out


Blood test revealed...not a lot. Uric acid was slightly high but the doctor expected either very high or very low readings. Just bad luck she said.

Don't want that again.
