can someone age my GT bike

Can anyone tell me what age my GT bike is ?
also if you know what level of rider its designed for ?

Anyways, im curious about it, because it seems like a decent bike for the age ( guessing its around 17 years old) . I ride around 12 miles every morning through gravel trails, muddy woods and downhill at around 45mph. no matter what the weather is it gets the job done very well !

1999/2000-ish GT Palomar. Low-end I'm afraid, nothing to write home about.. That said, if it does the job it needs to do then it's all good
