Can anyone identify this titanium bike?

Hi,

I've been trying to determine the make and model of this bike for a while.

S/N is A3111992

It's similar to a lot of bikes I've seen.

There's one feature that this frame has that I haven't seen in any other frames.

It has a hole near the top of both dropouts.

I've contacted Litespeed, Dean and Kona and been told that it wasn't made by any of them.

Someone suggested that it may have been built by Titanium Sports Technology in Washington.

Any help would be appreciated.

Most likely a Park Pre Pro Elite. Can you Show the other side? Especially the cable routing at the seatpost.

Park Pre was here in Ventura County.
It was a pretty popular brand in the early 90's.
I'm not sure when they went away.
Any idea who would have made the frame?
Does the S/N of A111992 mean it was made sometime in 1992?

I wonder what the holes in the down tube were for. They look like they're "aftermarket".

The serial if it was a typical A-Pro serial would date it as a 1994 frame. I.e. made 1993, November.

But all the components and forks date it to a 1998 model. (Or refurb)


I have no idea if A-Pro, as used by ParkPre (and many others), welded up and Titanium frames.

Parkpre frames were made at the Fairly Bike Manufacturing Co Ltd factory in Taiwan. Cozy the founder designed a few other things, he designed the original Timbuk II tyre, and had something to do with the Porcupine tyre.
