Hi. Thanks but I'm pretty sure it's not campagnolo. Just been goggling again and I think it's a San Marco.

Older French bikes had the owner's initials on parts and the frame as part of some registration thing.

Ì fine think I've ever knowingly seen a San Marco post - but these GP engraved numbers were quite common, especially in 26.8 sort of sizes.Well played sir! I was going with San Marco also ..
I imagine they were o.e. on some sporty uk bikes, to give them a little Italian pazazz
