Can any of you help me identify these early Marzocchi's

What model of this fork is ??

Is this XC600 ,XCR or other ??

We can see the LN. 44/97 and SN. 000245921 from the picture 6.

Does LN. 44/97 stand for this fork is produce in 1997 ???

Yes its an MY97 XCR.

Available in Silver, Yellow, Red and Orange according to the 97 Catalog I have.

Not really my cup of tea....

Too flexy in the legs. And very very little travel.

But otherwise a solid fork - Marzocchis were more reliable than any other oil forks around at the time.

What's the difference between XC 700 and XCR??


In 1997 the top of MARZOCCHI fork is DH, second is XC700 and next is XCR
