Campagnolo MTB rims?

So where are my ALFA XL rims then? They don't appear on the list.

EDIT - just found an entry on 'Old Bike' website about a Ritchey P22 with these rims listed at around 350gm.

Hi, I own a Raleigh Dyna-Tech 2070 MTB with Campagnolo Centaur MTB groupset and a couple of years ago managed to acquire some Campag Mirox rims (NOS) on EBay from the USA for a very reasonable price.

Here is a link to a Campag MTB rim leaflet leaflet http://www.campyonly.com/catalogs/1989_mtb/rims.pdf

It's always worth keeping an eye-open on EBay as Campag MTB rims always seem to keep popping-up.

Cheers

I had a set of K2 on record hubs earlier this year and they were gorgeous- very light too. There was a NOS pair of 32 h Stentho's on US eBay last week with a BIN of $24!. Same guy had loads of NOS M732 mechs, hubs and headsets too at really low prices but would not ship to the UK and was rather rude when I asked him.

I run a pair of Mirox on my singlespeed - crazy concave sides make the LBS always say they are worn, but I did a stress test up to 100psi as it got me paranoid.

Nothing went bang, so I guess they are OK!

I have a pair on the yeti , got them from jezz , not sure what model they are .

last year i found a stash of nos ( I think that is where gump got his ) .

I have a pair of 36h Stheno's on my Clockwork, they are in daily use and I find it hard to find fault with them. I took them to be trued at one of the bike shops close to me and they were impressed by the quality of the rims and also the concave braking surfaces!

Cheers,

Roger

My Sthenos ended up with a really interesting sidewall profile - mostly curved, but with a square-sided trench in them from the Hydrostops ;-)

I've got K2's on record hubs on my klein - definitely 1996 nice deep profile - have to use valve extenders - an absolute nightmare to get the psycho tyres on but a very good looking wheel!!!
