I used to love Ateks and Stehno's back in the day. The Atek's were super light at 370g odd and the Stehno's a few g more.
They have a very large concave braking surface which is great, but they seem to be surceptable to being easily dented. They are a very stiff rim and seemed tougher that equivalent Mavic's and FIR rims of the era, but if you gave them a good belt they tended to crisp and not true up again as well as a Mavic would. The lack of eyelets did lead to tiny cracks after extended use, but the cracks never propagated to the extent that the rim failed. They are a really good looking rim and polished up exceptionally well.
