There’s a 90’s Giant Cadex I’ve spotted. Fully Ultegra equipped, Mavic rims, with some paint damage on the wishbone section and a few other scuffs here and there. What do you think is a fair price for this?

Cheers

Not as much as you might think. I have a 980c, there are several for sale on eBay for upwards of £250, I bought mine last year for £70 locally.
There's some CFRs for sale too for £400 to £500 but if you look at sold items then I could only see one that had sold for £150.

Thanks for your replies. This one is up for just over £150, so it’s looking a tad pricey. It’s not mint but not tatty either, somewhere in between. It would clean up well enough but I’m not sure now.
Cheers

I think £150 or so is pretty good as Ultegra 9 and decent rims & finishing kit. If the bike is going to be a rider for you and the spec hits the spot then I would go for it 👍

I'd agree with this. Ultegra 9 speed with Shimano 600 threaded headset and seat post and the Mavic ceramic rim wheels which you don't often see in such good condition is worth it.
I recently sold a Cadex CFR frameset on Ebay for £40 so the frame on its own isn't worth that much so probably the value is in the parts. If nothing else it would make a good "donor " bike.
