build thread for my van!!

had a big money day with the van, the insurance was due, paid that, £350, not too bad i suppose, then i went to see Jon at Calypso conversions to sort some more details and pay him some more money and organise a date to drop it in.

so another £500 is gone and it's booked in on the 12th of march. my wallet has never been so empty!!

but i have to think of a name for the van as Jon posts pics on his website after they are finished and he likes to have a name for each project . . . so, any ideas?

:)

Nice van Jonny.
I have it's smaller, slightly lower rent brother.

Big enough to take my trials bike, mountain bike, kip in the back (though not all at the same time  ). Love it to bits, but would swap both it and a bollock for a T5.

.

You and my mate seem to be modding T5's at the same time :D
He's doing all the mods himself, i'm currently giving him a few pointers with the paint.
Personally i like this sort of van i reckon you could bolt a bike carrier on the back

my T5

Nice looking van Johnnyboy. Here's mine after today's ride on Woodbury Common. Full Torbay Conversions camper conversion on a 5.1.
Great "lifestyle vehicles" aren't they?

You certainly would, cause you would have to be high as a kite to build it, let alone drive it!

Beetles have been turned into just about everything over the years.

I don't understand the thing about micro campers.

Like the ones on the back of a wee pick-up, or the wee delivery vans done out as campers.

The bay windows were compact enough. My favourite camper for actually using as such was actually a Type 25. But I keep that a secret.

I cannot imagine this one being as spacious...

Is that Al driving?

How cool - a built in Bike Shelter on the back.

Better than this god awful conversion
