Browning Trials Unit - Built by Swallow

Re: Another British Build! Browning Trials Unit!

A naff chain well that makes perfect sense although annoying none the less and those brales look awesome as well as stopping awesome too but never been a fan of gripshift due to the awkward maintenance which is a shame as they always look good as for the XT / DX groupset mix i've always loved the idea but never tried it as yet that is and why would you want to hide those lovely bikes for gawds sake  but yeah ! i've been down that same road myself and lived to tell the tale ;) and just cause i like saying it your bike just looks Amazing ;) ..

Absolutely love this and can't wait to see it in the steel.

Would make a great stable mate to the Rhygin with the paint schemes too...

[hand it over].

Cheers chaps for the comments :)

Out for a ride today to see how well the suspension works, just a short ride out to a beer hole just on the outskirts along the side of the river, what a lovely day it turned out to be, was supposed to throw it down!

well... its a few years old and there is some back and forth as if the headset was loose, its not - I think its just a little play in the pneumatic unit, it does take the bumps out of the trail but its hard to actually get a peek at the movement whilst moving, All in all though it works well although it does feel like quite a low front end to say it looks high.

The DX/XT setup is working well, reminiscent of the shimano groupset mixup that happened with marin and kona's of the era and the gripshift was great, front was precise, the rear was quite a 'throw' to get a change of ratio but again...precise for an old shifter system.

Had a stop at the pub for some sunbathing and while taking in the rays and quenching a thirst took this photo......turns out I was breaking the rules!
