Brooks Competition Saddle

I was given this Brooks Competition saddle today which appears sparingly used but had been left in a workshop for over 20 years. I've cleaned the grub and dust from it and applied some dubbin to restore condition (leather looks remarkably good) but should I do anything with the rivets/nose to polish them up? If so any suggestions on the best method and materials to not risk damaging the leather?

Finally, not being knowledgeable in any way about Brooks I googled away and found this as the best match....

And if I've got the correct ID is this saddle as uncommon as suggested?

A bit of riding and the rivets will be nicely buffed up.
Generally it's better to use Brooks Proofide for the saddle - dubbin softens the leather and it can stretch too much.
Also put Proofide on the BACK, which then seals the leather nicely.

The dubbin I've put on seems to have worked well so far - I'll not slather on any more! I'm not going to be riding it for a bit so I'll leave it to do it's thing and then have a look again when it's time to try it out. Thanks for all the hints!

Had another look for this particular saddle and found a few very well used ones on eBay which, to my mind at least, bodes well for it's usefulness.
Rear frame is stamped B75 - figure this means Feb 1975?
