I was given this Brooks Competition saddle today which appears sparingly used but had been left in a workshop for over 20 years. I've cleaned the grub and dust from it and applied some dubbin to restore condition (leather looks remarkably good) but should I do anything with the rivets/nose to polish them up? If so any suggestions on the best method and materials to not risk damaging the leather?
Finally, not being knowledgeable in any way about Brooks I googled away and found this as the best match....

And if I've got the correct ID is this saddle as uncommon as suggested?
