British Eagle Pro Carbon

Retro Newbie
I have seen a Pro carbon and wonder if it is safe to ride after nearly 30 years old? Will the adhesive still hold the carbon fibre tubes to the aluminium lugs.
If any member has one of these frames then I would like to hear from them.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, I had one, it was made by Alan. unless you have any specific concerns, there are plenty of us riding bonded frames from the 90s.

Any cracks/squeaks/creaks? if not, and it's in generally good condition, go for it.

Those frame were italian made Alan, rebranded
Si quality bonded frame

I've had a few carbon or ti bonded frames such as giant cadex and dyna-techs. Not had any bonding issues with any, I'd be happy to have another.

I think the Alan frames are really nice. Strange that British eagle, which weren't exactly high end (weren't they the premium falcon range) had them in their line up.

If they’re made the same way as the road frames, I think they’re screwed together as well as bonded. I doubt any failure would be catastrophic.

Any pictures of your British eagle ?
I confused between Brittish Ragle and Raleigh… Sorry
