i just tryed to see the pics but cant seem to get them fullsize if you have the same problem let me know. i dont know much about them but can always pop in the x-lite office and ask as they are just down the road from me :D

I can't see the full size pics either.

I think they might be too "downhilly" for my Pace, though

I did think about doing this with my Lloyd for all of a Nanosecond, and then I remembered how easily I break stuff and the consequences of it.

Give it a go, it will be an interesting project.

I have: X-Lite saddle, seat post, seat clamp, seat post shim, handlebars, stem, stem plug, stem stackers, handlebar plugs (and they make/made skewers, various bolts, rims, bar ends and brake levers). It's all in use though I'm afriad!
DMR provide my pedals, grips and chainstay protectors.
I always use Halo wheel products - not retro, but UK based (as are DMR) and they make skewers, hubs, spokes, rims, rim tapes, tubes and PINK tyres!
Always use XT drivetrain and brakes too, but Hope and Middleburn could help out here regarding hubs, brakes, bb, headset and cranks.

yeh they are very wide, i put them on my cindercone with the tioga 2.10 and the knobbles rub the chainstay.

Weren't there tyres created for the British climate and conditions? Could be a compromise, I seem to remember a few tests BITD which suggested tyres were designed for the British market.

Panaracer Trailrakers I think? No amberwall version though!
