Brake pad replacement

I have just bought a 2008 Kona Cindercone on ebay which works fine but the brakes sounds a bit grindy, I have taken the wheels out and looked at the pads, The front look ok ish and the back look quite worn, I have decided to change both anyway, For some reason the bike has odd calipers fitted.
It has Tectro Draco caliper on the front & Hayes ryde on the rear.
I have changed pads on cars many times no problems ! On the bike is it just remove the pads and push back the cylinders and fit the replacements ?

The bike calipers don't have a dust/dirt boot on the pistons unlike the car calipers. I always very carefully clean my pistons before pushing them back in, just in case there is some gunge on the piston that gets caught under the seal.

Hi
I replaced the front pads today the tektro Draco one, Now the wheel rubs on the pads, I pushed the caliper back in using the old pads and a big flat bladed screw driver.
How can i stop the rubbing ?
