brake cable hanger question.....

Hi all.....i'm about to start a build but i am stuck with the front brakes.....i wish to run dx cantis, but have no hanger for the front cable....the stem is noodleless, and headset set up nicely without room for a collar.....v's are an option but not really the way i want to go with the build.....i guess there would be some option to fasten a hanger to the steerer tube, but i cant find one having superficially searched the web....anyone got any bright ideas? :D

yeah, an option but the stem will suit the build so well it seems a last option....its 1 1/4 too so not that much to choose from....will do it if i'm forced to though... :D

If you're worrying about it suiting a build, then do not go the hanger on the fork option. It just was not done, unless maybe some odd Kona late in the 90's or suspension forks.

Change the stem or us the clamp in the post above.
If neither of them are an option, then V's of course which will suite as well as the funny fork hanger idea.

Cannondale made a nice part/adapter for it. Could be mounted on the forks/brace. Forgot it's name but some-one might know.

There are other brands wich made the same and it looks like an L shaped thing.

Roller or rocker cam, think the connondale one was called the force 40 braking system

Thanks for the replies gents....the force 40 rocker requires a braze on on the steerer I think.....or does it fasten in the mud guard hole?....
