The threading was the same, it was just that the fixed 'cup' was on the left side and the adjustable was on the right. The frames they fitted was normally threaded British
Update: Took the frame to Mercian Cycles who took a look and said nothing be done unless one can modify the campagnolo bottom bracket. I think threadless would work, but does not seem to be available for the Campagnolo chainset I had intended to use. Photos to follow
