Bottom bracket query

Thanks I'll report back, when we were kids one mate had very loud creaking and used to piss us off :D
what did we used to do without youtube eh

I've got LM2, copper grease and bike grease
was thinking copper grease for the cups and the bike grease for the bearings?

Bike grease has worked well on various parts and on elastomers in the past

Not sure about the particular BB but in my experience it can be a chore to actually get to the sealed bearings. But I've had good results just giving it all a thorough clean and greasing threads and torquing to spec but it certainly is doable to repack the sealed bearing as well. Remember to pack the race and outside too

Great, yes ok cheers for the input, would like to try and do it the best way
All new to me aswell, let's hope someone hasn't done the cups up too tight

Should be fine with the right tool. I might have used vice grips and a cloth on a few :D

It's an sram made bb, you'll be able to press the bearing out to service/ replace it.

Pick the seal off, flush it clean and repack with your bike grease.

Unlikely to be reason for a creaks though. That's dry threads normally.
