Bottle dynamo, worth persevering?

Update on this, the newer/better nick dynamo has made all the difference. Zero slippage and less resistance I think too. Having done a good bit more riding with it I’m happy to see that the much gripper plastic cover on the new one isn’t adding any additional wear to the tyre side wall.

I’d only hooked up a front lamp originally but today have added a rear.
