Here is my 1990 Marin Palisades. Nothing is standard beyond the frame, re-enamelled by Chas May 10 years ago. The bike has toured on 4 continents, ridden the Slickrock Trail at Moab and been used as a daily commuter in Singapore amongst its adventures in the 21 years I have owned it. Pictured here at the 1km flag at the Cap Frehel stage of the Tour de France last year on a mini tour.

Lovely bike, but alas should be in BOTM post 98 section.

That is a stunner and I wouldn't even have questioned it but alas it is too new for BOTM!

Well, I should have known ...

It took me quite some investigation, but after hours of good detective work (and a very nice talk on the phone with Karsten) I must confess that this bike was build in the years 1997 and 1998!!!

So calm down and ralax and put a big smile on ya face, `cause everything is fine and the sun will still shine.
