I'm surprised felixdelrio Ellison e-type isn't getting a few more votes; it looks to be a perfect build...alas, competition is stiff, so that's not to take away from anyone that has received votes.

If the tires on that e-type are what I think they are, they are near impossible to find in that condition...last set of those specialized tyres I saw on ebay in near nos condition went for silly money.

I need a set of those, btw

Well, as the loving owner of a 1997 Kilauea, you might think my vote would be predictable, but I have to be honest and say that the Syncros cranks do this one no favours – they often detract rather than add IME.

I think OrangeRetro’s Kula deserves a special mention – this picture doesn’t really show off the paint to its best advantage, but OrangeRetro both painted that bike himself and made the replacement decals himself, and I think it’s a fantastic job and I can’t tell it from the original, which is a real achievement.

Two other splendidly repainted bikes are the Lloyd and the Fat Chance, but I think it’s right to vote for the bike that you’d most like to own and that you’d ride the most if you did own it, and for me that has to be the superb Ritchey P20.
