A well deserved win for the Muddy and Brodie!
They were in my top, but went for the Klunker in the end! I cannot understand it only got 7 votes....! :?:

Anyway, I got 6! :p Thanks all!

A well deserved victory - well done. and thanks for rose that voted for me, appreciated.

Great result, I really need to think on and hold that casting vote ;)

As an aside it is my perception that since making the vote 'blind' the result is far closer - which is a good thing. I perhaps need to go back through past polls and properly analyse . However interested to hear others opinions?

Don't over analyse it, John! It's a good thing the vote is blind! The results do show it! Keep it like it is! I really like it!
We're all in front of the screen on the last day of the month now!

I think it was a positive change - now that it's blind, it seems to have taken away a lot of the tactics, gamesmanship and posturing about votes, timing and the results.

I like to think, perhaps a bit naively, that in doing so it's become more fun and less competitive and contentious.

Yeah, blind voting is the way to go here.
Well done for the winners.
Does that mean they only get 1/2 a magazine each

I like the new system, it probably takes "going with the flow" voting out of the equation, and makes the whole process a bit less stressful for entrants who have put blood, sweat and tears into their bikes.

I do think that some kind of tie-break might be a good idea though, otherwise in the (admittedly unlikely) situation of say, a 10-way tie, it will cost you a small fortune in subscriptions! There could be a consolation prize for tie-break losers?
