Some absolutely classic bikes this month, it should be a good competition.
Of course I'm biased towards Specialized so for me the bike from the early dawn of the brand gets my vote this month, Stumpjumper1990's rather tasty looking 1982 Stumpjumper

Love CCMDocs 1995 S-Works, but it's not complete....?!? No chain, no mechs, no cables......??

I know, I know ... :facepalm:

When I replaced the photo I originally posted with that one, I hadn't realized I copied a link to a similar pose but older, pre-build photo .

I then received emails, PMs and saw your post. Only then did i look more closely at the photo I posted.

Embarrassing to say the least :facepalm:

But there are many other fine bikes from which to choose and so I did.

Going with Kona is the easy bit (the geometry of the frame is simply beautiful), but which one?
Ameybrook's Lava Dome - fantastic pic of a great build. Instant attraction.
Rob Atkin's Kilauea - so much love and it shows.
Gravymonster's Rat - just because..

Ameybrook's Lava Dome for me purely on the beauty of the image rather than the history.

Had to be a Kona. I nearly voted for al-onestare's A'ha, but in the end I went for the one with the best paintjob, the Rat.

At least I got one vote..... Lot's of Kona fans on here...

Me too by the way.... But not just for the looks. The geometry of the frames suits me very well! Bit like those awesome Specialized's!!

Who in their right mind would want to own any one of these brands... Him except women of them specialised thing .. Some look quite nice. First pics good and different.

Off to see if Chris buys me a pint tonight for his vote then I'll decide.

bduc61's 1995 Specialized S-Works Steel, not just because i really like these steel S-Works, but also because it looks so neat but it's still racy..
But it had a very close contender in Ameybrook's 1994 Kona Lava Dome.....beautiful build as well.
