I think most members might take a day or two to vote, sometimes you forget but that's your fault, as stated the closing time hasn't changed but it's now an issue (or isn't...) - I had never thought about tactical voting until these couple of threads...

Get Firefox. It has spell check. Then people don't have to put (sic) in your statements to show they didn't misspell them in their posts.
