Couple of updates on the bontrager.

Thanks to a member here I have an deore xt m740 headset fitted along with a slightly higher and slightly shorter salsa stem.

The headset has a higher stack than the 105 one it replaced, so I've been able to lose a spacer.

The stem isn't correct vintage bit still looks the part.

Finally the Judy's have gone back on and I think they are staying.

I won't be the only person to say I miss/prefer the Bontrager fork, so I'll just let the other's do it for me.

Its your bike though, so if you prefer how it rides with the Judy then the Judy is the right choice! : )

Especially away from the glorious stem.

Too new; too big a logo.

yeah I agree, they're not very comfy either - any suggestions for something more in keeping? Was thinking Attacks.

I like the Salsa stem on there - and considered using one on mine. You can't change your mind now - as you sold your old on to me and it's staying on my Bonty
Which also proves - not everyone has that stem on their Bonty

Grips - just summat without a big logo. I got some Porcipaws for mine.
