benjabbi Bontrager Fan Aug 30, 2021 #51 Looks great, but then I would say that If the grips you are using are longnecks (can't quite tell) then you probably won't get on with attacks either, they have the same mushroom pattern. Ritchey WCS are quite comfy and look in keeping.

Carge Retrobike Rider Orange 🍊 Fan Feedback View Aug 30, 2021 #52 I was also preferring the Judys on there - and no, I'm not after the Switchblades
pw_pw_la Senior Retro Guru Aug 30, 2021 #53 Yeah, Attacks would be nice. I know plenty of people run them and love them, and they always look good. I'm a big fan of the classic Ritchey WCS hexagonal foam grips myself. Cheap, comfy, classic. And easily replaceable.

slackboy Bontrager Fan Feedback View Sep 25, 2021 #55 Couple of new bits to finish this build off. Got another 117 rim to replace the 517 on the rear and picked up a titec handlebar too. Oh, and I finally managed to get my hands on one of these:

slackboy Bontrager Fan Feedback View Oct 4, 2021 #57 Quite proud of my first attempt at relacing, dishing and truing. Looks much better with matching 117 rims and the new ti bars set of the silver in the panels quite well Only the grips and pedals left to offend the purists out there. (And the seat post, saddle and Cnc jockey wheels). Last edited: Oct 4, 2021

pw_pw_la Senior Retro Guru Oct 4, 2021 #58 This bike is such a bad boy! Just look at him. Looks like the mysterious new guy in town, with a slickback and sunglasses. Can handle himself, and a woman. If you know what I mean. Sorry, have I got off topic? This bike is just excellent. And looks like it f***s.
