I like the way you have incorporated the orange down the tubes I had a similar problem deciding how to do this when painting my Dave Lloyd in the same colours.
I would have got you to paint my bike looking at your work, but not living in the states I had to get my old man to do it for me instead.

A little history for those interested - I bought the frame new back in 91. It was "Plum Crazy" purple which I thought was okay, but not wild about. After some trail abuse I sent the frame back to Chris Chance to have it resprayed Yellow. It looked great and I kept it that way for quite a while. I must have received a blow to the head from one of the more abusive trail rides because I decided I wanted braze-ons and a new color. I entrusted the job to a local "frame expert" who nearly ruined the frame. Disheartened, I did a Krylon job on it instead of a custom paint job that I had originally planned. The frame languished in my basement for years and it's sad state bothered me everytime I looked at it. I finally decided to restore it and lucked out by finding the "Fat Cogs" website which clued me into Rody. After seeing some of his work I new he would be the guy to do the work. Originally I was going to go for a simple silver paintjob. However, after seeing the cool stuff Rody was producing I decided to step it up a notch. As a Porsche owner and vintage car fanatic, I have always loved the Gulf Porsche color scheme. It seemed a natural so I put together some crudely done photoshop ideas for Rody to work with. I was pretty much counting on his paint expertise to turn a concept into a reality. I'm glad Rody was able to translate my basic ideas into what you see. I couldn't be more happy with the results. Rody was great to work with and I've already got a second project earmarked for him - a vintage Benly Honda. Maybe Gulf blue? Thanks Rody!
