For sale is this rare Bob Jackson bike. It is not mint as you may see from the photos, but it has potential to be a really beautiful example if someone has the time to restore it. It has Dura ace hardware all round (possibly first gen?) which is in good condition and the wheel hubs are black which I think is an unusual and nice touch for a bike of this era.
All the bearings have been regreased and were in very good condition when I cleaned and inspected them so mechanically this bike could last a very long time. The wheels have been rebuilt. There's loads that could be done if you wanted to make this bike good as new, but for me it's not worth it as the bike is too small hence the sale.
I did ride it 40 miles recently and it felt pretty good although there was some fork shudder under heavy braking. In general it's a fast, light bike which was very enjoyable to ride.
It seems I'm unable to add photos because they are too large, but they are available to view on cyclinguk.com forums

The bike is in Solihull, and can be viewed at weekends
