That sure is pretty and it's even my color but for the square tubing bikes I stick with the ones with an actual head badge vs the cheap looking sticker.
Never liked those stickers but isn't that how all bikes are labeled no a days... With a stickers, are head badges a thing of the past?
Anyone have a new modern day bike with a head badge?
Or did we finally say...
We don't need no stinkin badges!

Somebody here awhile back displayed a head-badge they had created from cromoly bicycle tubing. As I recall, he drilled out a new inside diameter from a length of tubing, and then laser-etched a design into the outside wall of the tubing, and then somehow cleanly cut the shape of the badge. The result was a purely metal badge that would fit the head-tube perfectly (the inside diameter of the badged matched the outside diameter of the head-tube).

He offered to create head-badges for members, but I regret I may have inundated him with requests and scared him off. After my first request, I had an idea for another one, and then a 3rd request for yet another, and I worry that, in my eagerness, I may have somehow shut him down. I was willing to pay him for them, but perhaps he got so many requests that he decided it would take a few lifetimes to fill all the orders.
