Yes she told us her 60th was soon after she said a big birthday was on the cards, and she is a trustworthy person....why do you want her number to confirm something ?

Also black and white are terms used all the time and are currently politically correct ie black british and white british as an example, are you trying to make out these are racist terms ?

As Captain Beefheart said many times '' we are all coloured otherwize you would be able to see through people''.....

But Africa does exist and so does Russia........as does red hair and blonde hair, tall and short.......and sometimes these differences affect us.....differently !

Anyway boy did she look hot for 60

[How often does anyone need to describe someone in terms of black or white?
After witnessing a crime? Searching for porn? Reliving the time you pulled something more exotic than a weegie ned in a dress?

A person's colour or 'colour' is pretty much essential in any description. It wouldn't be a description otherwise. Extend your reasoning to weight, size, hair colour etc and how would we describe anyone or anything?

The dictionary has description as 'a picture in words'. It will be a pretty crap picture if there's no colour in it.

I don't have a subtext. I am not mealy-mouthed. This thread does demonstrate the level of ignorance knocking around about what is and what is not offensive, blah, blah, blah.

The term black is over used, and most often unnecessarily and inaccurately.

It is usually the first in the list.

Given two men standing at the bus stop, one short one tall, the default is to differentiate according to skin colour rather than size.

Let us not pretend the term is never use pejoratively.

Plenty of patronising responses here as well.

So did you ask her out?

Met a afro caribbean lady the other day....... so no hidden racist stuff ok.

Right first off an afro is a hair do, and this isnt even hidden racist this is overt in your face racism with a feeble attempt at diversion at the end

Right greenstiles, attributing any charachteristic to a whole race of people is racism, you know after your chinese person rant i thought you would steer clear of topics like this

oh and Black is about identity not skin colour , now can this thread be locked please good mods, isnt racism not allowed on here??

I've never understood why women moisturise, exfoliate and cleanse their faces regulary but when they get older ...a womans faces look more lined than men who lets face it..hardly wash let alone moisturise
