Bit stormy down my way tonight!

This morning, I had a bit of a hangover* thought I'd paddle my canoe to the car park instead of walking.

God, it was hard work. Kept being blown into the other moored boats.

Still, you can carry much more in the canoe than a wheelbarrow.

* a night that ended up with four of us stealing a pub umbrella as when we were chucked out at closing time it was pissing down, then going home in my mate's dory giggling like mad and entertaining the night fishermen.

Nice clip but it reminds me of a lovely experience  Several years ago my father decided to drive down to gorleston seafront to watch a summer storm that had been forecast,we parked on the pier car park known as the "danger keep off" This should have been a clue  the whole pier was shaking and crashing waves were everywhere it was 1987 NICE ;) the next day the pier was closed because part of the car park had collapsed into the sea  nice one dad ;) I still dream of what could have happened  childhood  what fun
