Bill Grove......

Stays look the same size for me. Split BB is for a tandem-style eccentric to tension the chain for singlespeed/hub gear use.

also why the split bottom bracket? :?:
.

my guess is for some form of eccentric bottom bracket, to allow for adjustment of the belt tension

why is the LH stay deeper than the RH one? :?:

also why the split bottom bracket? :?:

intersting frame and looks to be well built.

LH side is deeper to accomodate the Rohloff hub specific OEM plate

Split BB is indeed for an excenter to tension the belt (or chain)

Just had contact with Rody, he's just back from NAHBS and will be painting it soon,

I saw it earlier, in my Google Reader inbox.
It's taken a while...

But:
I remember the earlier close-ups of some of the details/workmanship; It's gonna be insanely great.

I heard Rody's wait list is quite looooong now. I should have been brave (or not so poor) & got on the list a few years ago.

I am quite looking forward to seeing this on the web, but I am fairly positive you're looking forward to seeing it in the Ti more!
