(Bike) servicing fluids

I honestly don't think Muc-Off is any use whatsoever. I've never saved any effort using it, infact it takes more effort to spray the bloody stuff.

On a more helpful note, I use wipes pre-soaked in isopropyl-alcohol for degreasing and cleaning fiddly bits. I get them through work but these look like a similar product:

I was thinking of the teflon grease for skewers and other bits that I probably won't look at that often and the GT85 for the chain and anything else that looks like it needs a spraying more regularly.. if you get me :?

For bearings and bushings, I use Finish Line teflon grease 'cos it comes in a tube that fits to my grease gun.

For chains I use White Lightening on my guiding bike that mostly gets used in the summer in Colorado and Moab. All the other bikes use Purple Extreme year round.

For cables, etc. I use Finish Line dry (teflon) lube.

I have a hand spray and 5-litre tub of WD40 for general use, and some white spirit and meths for cleaning/degreasing.

What do you keep in your arsenal for cleaning, greasing, lubing etc. etc................

I tried keeping stuff there, but it irritated my Farmer Giles summat rotten, so I returned to storing it in my toolbox...............also I often confuse anusol with autosol. Bike looks crap, but my bumhole has buffed up a treat........

GT 45, WD40, lithium grease, copper slip, silicone lube for elastomers and O-rings and thangs- also have a box of disposable gloves to keep my lillywhite hands lillified and white.............. cleaning wise, I just tend to use flash and household type stuff. And anusol.

Rock n Roll cable lube
Stendec fork grease
Autoglym resin car polish for that instant bling effect
