I was more than a bit surprised to actually win BotM let alone come 3rd in BoTY - I never expected anything like this back in November 2007 when I joined.

Thanks to sinnett177 for the competition!

Thank you to all who voted.

BotM winner & a podium finish in BotY... gotta be 'appy with that :D

Congrats to the winners!
When i look at finals, i see that Oveburys and Saracen are most obvious proofs of the fact that the site and most of active members are based in UK.
In that sense we all visitors from abroad must just cope with some inbuilt British bias.
Every country has sentiments towards own history that others simply cant feel.

Well done to all finalists, every bike a stunner imo. Quite close at the top too with Marks a worthy winner and very close to getting my vote.

My choice came last  It's still the best of the bunch for me though. :D

all bikes, accept for one, received double digit votes, with 8 of those getting over 20 votes, definitely not a consensus, so congrats to all the candidates, and especially to the top three.

cheers
Rob

The good spread of votes between a wide range of diverse bikes indicates, I think, an encouraging and healthy retro "scene" (and Forum membership).

If we all favoured just the same one or two makes/models/types, then the whole interest would become introverted and ultimately moribund.

All lovely - all worthy!!

Thanks to the owners for sharing.
